Commemoration of the Korean War Ceasefire in Framingham, MA

The Department of Defense 60th Anniversary of the Korean War Commemoration Committee (KW60) will join Korean War Veterans in Framingham, MA for a commemorative event on June 2, 2013.  Consul Eunchul Lee from the New England Korean Consulate Office of Boston will be the keynote speaker.  A KW60 representative will deliver brief remarks on behalf of the Department of Defense and will present Veterans with Certificates of Appreciation signed by the Secretary.  This event will be held at the Cushing Memorial Chapel, a historic chapel built in 1943, and will be open to the public.  Included in the program will be an opportunity for Korean War Veterans in attendance to share their wartime stories with the audience.
