South Korean Minister of Patriots and Veterans Affairs Visits Nashville, Tennessee

The 60th Anniversary of the Korean War Commemoration Committee attended an event in Nashville on February 13, 2013 that featured the Director of the South Korean Ministry of Patriots' and Veterans Affairs' (MPVA), Choi-Gang-Soon.  The event included a luncheon honoring Tennessee Veterans who served in the Korean War, a wreath laying, a tree-planting ceremony, and the unveiling of a new section of the Korean War Boulevard in downtown Nashville.  MPVA also visited the Alvin York Veterans Campus in Murfreesboro and the Tennessee State Veterans’ Home to present Korean War Veterans with Medals of Peace and Certificates of Appreciation to honor their service.
